Well after a VERY long absence I'm back. I know I never posted that much in my journal to begin with, but I'm going to try and do it more often, whenever I can find the time.
I haven't come out with any videos in about two months only because my computer crashed (I hate viruses) and I lost everything. A lot of my main important things were saved on disks and stuff but I lost all my movie footage and my music. So my best on-line friend Wormie (SkywalkerDreams here on LJ) has sent me all her footage. And I was able to come up with a new video. It's a Sabewan one about how Obi-Wan and Sabe fell in love, were separated for a long time, and then finally reunited again in the end.

Yeah, I know I just posted, but my current music reminded me of something. The other day I was listening to the song "A Whole New World" from the movie "Aladdin" and I decided to look up the people who sang the song. Well the singing voice for Aladdin was Caleb Kane. From there I then downloaded a couple of his songs and he has such an amazing voice. So I thought I would share one of his songs with all of you. It's called "Go Mad" and it's really good. Yes!! Finally my all time favorite band is coming out with a new CD. If you haven't noticed my avatars, seen my "current music" or even noticed the color bar on my info page then I'll let you know that my favorite bad is THE CITY DRIVE!!! Their new Album is called Always Moving Never Stopping and it comes out June 27th. Here's a link to pre-order if you like.

Sure I'm a little biased about the categories that included someone from Star Wars, but some movies that won I know the fans would not have picked. Description~ This video has special importance to me. Because, you see my friend Amanda loved Star Wars just as much as I do, maybe even more. And when we were little, before the prequels, Darth Vader was her favorite character because she loved how he was kind of a... fallen angel. And when the prequels rolled around, I already knew Anakin was going to be her favorite character. She liked the prequels mostly because it was a look into how her "fallen angel" has actually fallen (not to mention she thought Hayden Christensen was hot, lol). Well I started making music videos soon after Revenge of the Sith came out on DVD and she begged me to make her an Anakin/Vader one. So I did, and it was this video, though it was a bit rougher then the version I have now. Well, two months ago she got in a car accident. She died at the hospital a little while later. After it happened I went back to this video and fixed it up some, and I dedicated it to her because this really is her video. And I finally decided to post it because I knew she would want me to. So I hope you enjoy it as much as she did.

If you haven't seen the movie I suggest not reading on after the first paragraph because I spoil, basically, the entire movie.
Well, I saw the third x-men movie. And sad to say it didn't meet my expectations. I was really looking forward to seeing this movie, and I was sadly disappointed with the results. The entire movie was 98% action and there was little, if any, plot depth. Or character depth for that matter.
To start off, is all the action. Now, I understand that it is an action movie, and that you have to have it. But what was wrong was they had a lot of useless action. I can't even count the amount of times Wolverine got the crap beat out of him. It was sort of like the people who made this movie went: "Let see how many times we can mutilate Wolverine by the end of this movie and still get away with his healing power fixing him!" It was boring. I mean, we've seen his healing power, and we know he can get hurt because he is human, but it just got boring seeing him constantly healing himself and pulling things out of his chest and having heal back up again. It was awesome in the first movie, and in the second one it was still cool. But in this one it was like... we know already, okay? And actually, really, Wolverine's character all together annoyed me in this one. He was always my favorite, even before the movies. When I was little I use to watch the cartoon and Logan had always been my favorite, I just thought it was so cool how he was a loner, yet he still hung around the mansion and helped out. I know that in this one it was what they were trying to do. They were trying to get away from that renegade Wolverine and bring him in as one of the team. However they overdid it a little. For the first 10-15 minutes of the movie it was about him still being this loner who just happens to be at the mansion. But they transform him into the leader of the team a little too quickly. It was kind of like... Wtf? This isn't the Logan established in the first two movies. What happened to the renegade?
Another thing that really, really, really annoyed me was all the complaining. Every scene we had one character, or more, complaining about something. Mostly it was Logan and Scott crying over Jean. I know they love her, but seriously it got really old really fast. Scott has never been one of my favorite characters, so I didn't really care. They killed him off pretty quick anyway, so it didn't matter as much. What I really wanted to do was smack Logan upside the head. He actually almost started crying over her at one point. At that point I really wanted to hit, not just him, but Hugh Jackman, the director, and the writer as well. That was a terrible scene and I just rolled my eyes at it. What they really did was turn Logan into a wimp in this film. Not when it came to him fighting, but during the rest of the movie. Now I know that loosing Professor X was a terrible loss, but I almost threw up when he started crying. Logan takes his pain in and holds it for no one to see. He could have been torn apart, but he wouldn't have shown it.
Now, Logan wasn't the only one who bothered me in this movie. Storm was a real pain in the ass as well. She was constantly complaining about how the x-men are breaking up and how they have to keep fighting and she just turns into Miss Bitch. Hally Barrie seriously did not look like she was into it. I know damn well she can act better then she did in this film. I just hate it when actors slack on their part because people are going to love the movie no matter how terrible they do. Both storm and Hally need to get rid of that bug up their but and deal with it.
And once again they give Rogue the snub. I'm not the biggest Rogue fan in the world, but she deserved a bigger roll then she got. I miss that girl we met in the first movie. Nothing is wrong with the way Anna Paquin plays her. I think she is a wonderful actress, and she deserves a bigger roll. We hardly got anything about her going a taking the "cure." All of a sudden she pops up and is like "I want to touch people... etc." and she's off to take the cure.
The last thing I have to say is probably my biggest complaint. We got very little, if any background on the new characters. Let's start with Kitty. We got a very brief glimpse into her background when Bobby came into her room after the Professor X funeral. She said she missed home and the first snow.... Okay... most people might expect a little more into that. But nope, nothing more. That was it. That was all the background on Kitty we got. Okay, next lets look at Angel. Apparently he is the son of the guy who invented the "cure" and... and... oh, and he's about 20 years old... Sorry, that's about everything that was said about him too. Lets move onto the Beast now. Unless you read the comics or watched the TV show, then you have no idea about this guy. What most people don't know is is his mutation is his incredible strength, and large hands and feet for climbing and maneuvering. He became blue and hairy when he was trying to invent his own "cure" and it backfired on him. All we got from the movie is that his name is Hank, he's in politics, and he use to be an x-men. No background whatsoever on him. Alright, are we missing anyone? Oh wait, yes we are. It's so easy to forget because so many characters got the back draft in this movie. Colossus' roll was slightly boosted from his roll in the second film. He got at least a minute more air time. During the final fight scene I barely saw him. And lastly, the mutant kid where they got the "cure" from. Am I the only one who can't even remember this kids name? So just to see if I could find out, I went to IMdb about found out that this kid even has a mutant name. When did this happen? I barely remember them even saying his real name, let alone that he has a mutant name (and in case you're wondering, his name is Jimmy/Leech). And that's it. There was less information given about him then any other character. No background, no age, barely a name, virtually nothing. You see, for a character as important as he is in this movie, you think they would have given something about him. Considering the length of the movie, and the amount of useless footage, you can clearly see that they were struggling to have an entire movie. They could have taken at least half the amount of time they took to tell Jean's story to give us a little background into his character.
Over, I'm highly disappointed in this movie. I hope the Wolverine prequel, and the likely X-Men 4 are much better then this one. And I pray they get Brian Singer back into the directors chair. This movie was crap without him. I know, had he been apart of this movie, it would have gone 10x better.
I apologize if I offended anyone, and if you disagree, then leave a comment. But give me actual reason's why you disagree, don't just tell me "you're wrong" or whatever because I will just delete your useless dibble.

So, okay I have some poems I wrote that I would finally post. Since I posted in my info that I was a writer, I thought I should post some of my work. Although I've had writers block lately, and most of what I've been churning out is crap, but here is what I came up with.
This Friend of Mine
You're quiet and shy
Complaining that you're anti-social
But I still find your company warmer then the sun
You can make me laugh
Even when I'm falling off the edge
You make it all worth while
Your stories make no sense
And sometimes I have no idea what you're talking about
But I listen anyway, hung on your every word
And sometimes you're feeling low
Fed up with the world
But I'm here, ready to cheer you up
We've fought, told lies, and even struck out in anger
Sometimes I feel like it would be easier to just say goodbye
But life wouldn't be the same without you

But whether you like it or not, I'm your friend for life

(In this one, you'll notice that the first letter of each line spells out "I love you")

Discription~ This is an Anakin/Padme video. It's from Anakin's point of view about Padme's death. Clips are taken from all but Episode I and IV. I didn't do anything fancy with the clips and most of the transitions are fades. Oh, and before I get to mention. At times it is hard to understand what he's singing. You really have to pay close attention, or you might not get some of the clips. I have the lyrics if that would make it easier. Reading them doesn't spoil anything, so you can take a look at them before you watch the video. They are behind the cut.

Well, I guess this would officially be my first post. I just joined Live Journal. I felt like joining some communities I saw on this site, and I thought it might be nice to post some of my writing. I also thought it would be interesting to have a little journal where I can just kind of vent about my day. I don't know how many people will actually read this, but I guess it doesn't matter as much. I was going to make my user man "Cuddly Toy" but it was already taken.
